We leave Montevideo on the Rambla Naciones Unidas and the Intercoastal route until we arrive in Piriápolis, a coastal city of European style where the Hotel Argentino and the surrounding hills are prominent. We will go to the top of Cerro San Antonio and enjoy the best view of the area. Then we continue to Casapueblo (entry fee not included), a work of architectural art that was once the home of the famous artist Carlos Paéz Vilaró and nowadays is a museum and art gallery recognized worldwide. From there, we have a majestic view of Punta Ballena and Portezuelo. We will continue to La Barra of Maldonado and cross the bridge, famous for its undulating architecture. We return to the peninsula for the promenade of Playa Brava. You can enjoy free time to eat lunch and do leisure activities in the port area and the center of the peninsula.
