DAY 2 – Buenos Aires
Half day city sightseeing visiting the main points of interest, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero, Palermo and Recoleta.
DAY 3 – Buenos Aires – Salta
Transfer to airport for departure to Salta city.
Reception at the airport and transfer to selected hotel.
City sightseeing: This city was founded in 1582 and it still has a Spanish nature that makes it distinctive from the rest of the Argentinean capital cities. The surrounding hills provide the setting for the colonial style houses and churches that outline its urban features. Visit to its churches and museums… Cerro San Bernardo with a panoramic view of the city – Later the visit to San Lorenzo summer villa, 10 km from the city, National University, Vaqueros River, Quebrada de Castellanos, Lesser, San Lorenzo and Crafts Market.
DAY 4 – Salta – Cachi – Cafayate
Valleys Round Tour 4x4. The journey starts in Salta, going up the famous Cuesta del Obispo, reaching 3348 m.a.s.l. into Parque Nacional Los Cardones. Once there, descend to Valle Encantado, a small valley that marks a transition between two eco-regions: Monte and Pre-puna. . After leaving Parque Nacional Los Cardones, arrive to Cachi, time free for lunch, and visit its picturesque chapel and the archaeological museum. Continue down south along the famous Route 40 through other small villages such as: San Jose, Seclantás and finally Molinos with its historical chapel built in the XVIIth century and a Vicuñas breeding place that belongs to a local artisanal cooperative. After Angastaco, one of the most strange landscapes in South America can be seen, the "Quebrada de Las Flechas", where the strong contrast between desert, green valley and snow caped mountains on the back ground take the breath away. Arrival in the small city of Cafayate with 10.000 habitants surrounded by wineries and extended vineyards.

DAY 5 – Cafayate
Wine tasting. Cafayate is a very unique terroir or wine growing region, and is home to the most famous Torrontés, the only Argentinean variety. The high altitude (average of 1700 m.a.s.l.) and year-round clear skies creates intense and unforgettable wines. The Torrontés is full of aromas, sweet in the nose, but dry and refreshing. The reds are ink-intense, with great structure and unique personality. In the afternoon return to Salta via Las Conchas Valley, where wind and water erosion carved curious shapes on the rocks (The Amphitheater, Devils throat, The Toad, The Castles, among others).
DAY 6 – Cafayate – Salta – Mendoza
Transfer to the airport for departure to Mendoza.
DAY 7 – Mendoza
Wine Tour. Departure from hotel for a full day wineries tour of the region. Visit 3 wineries known for introducing to the international wine community the true potential and quality of the Mendoza terrain and for their knowledge and passion for winemaking. Argentina produces world class wines, and the bodegas visits will take you from the vineyards and sorting machines to the fermentation and aging rooms, offering an intimate glimpse into the wine making process from grape to bottle. We’ll enjoy a wine tasting and a delicious gourmet lunch at one of the bodegas.
DAY 8 – Mendoza
River Rafting Mendoza Potrerillos. For thrill seekers rafting is recommended, a favorite of those who choose adventure and outdoor sports. It is an activity that anyone who dares to paddle between rapids and water can go. This is performed on the way to Chile. Located 70 kilometers from the city of Mendoza, provide fast constant action throughout the descent. In summer, with higher flow, the Mendoza River carries sediment and form holes and making rapid waves of high intensity.
DAY 9 – Mendoza (out)
Transfer to airport for departure.
